MHF Natural Heritage Committee CALL FOR NOMINATIONS - 2011

Each year, the Muskoka Heritage Foundation (MHF) recognizes individuals and families who voluntarily protect their land through environmental stewardship. Simply put, stewardship means taking good care of your land, through protection, preservation or restoration. Recipients of the MHF Natural Heritage Awards are honoured at the foundation’s annual general meeting (AGM) in the fall.

HLC becomes HLoBLC

Yes, that's right -- the Huntsville Lakes Council is now the Huntsville/Lake of Bays Lakes Council!

We decided on the name change to better reflect our membership. For many years now, we have represented Lake Associations from both municipalities and we decided that it was about time our name reflected the facts.
