Subject: Property Tax petition;

Greetings FOCA (Federation of Ontario Cottagers Association) members,

As Spring unfolds, our sights turn to summer and (what else?) property taxes.

1) Property Taxes

With apologies for any cross-posting, FOCA would like to update you with the latest property tax information from CAPTR. As members of CAPTR, FOCA would appreciate your attention to the important information below:

CAPTR (Coalition After Property Tax Reform) WRAFT (Waterfront Ratepayers After Fair Taxes)

Our mission is to bring Equity and Stability to the Residential Property Tax System by placing Limits on Assessment Increases. This year, we want to take our message - and your support - directly to the Government of Ontario.

Please sign our online petition at CAPTR.org, to be delivered to Queen's Park later this year.

If we can attract a sufficient number of signatures - including yours - we will have a better chance of influencing the Government's attitude on this issue. Additionally, please forward this email to friends and neighbours who share our concerns.

Read the Latest News in our fight for property tax reform:

While gathering a meaningful volume of support on our petition, we will continue to press the Government for a fairer system on behalf of all Ontario homeowners.

Sent on behalf of:

Bob Topp
Chairman, CAPTR
